Hi all,
I just 'upgraded' my pc by getting a second graphic card sapphire hd6790.
All went well for a few days but after that, game crashes and now the 2nd graphic card is not detected. The fan spins at 100% by the sound of it.
Solution that I've tried so far:
1. Resetting the gc, no luck. (including swapping position)
2. update bios. no luck. (including roll back bios after trying to update it)
3. uninstall driver, the reinstall it, detected the graphic card and runs well. after that the same problem comes up again.
4. tested each graphic card on its own and stress it. Each graphic card works fine (after fresh install of driver). My pc detected both card in device manager with and without the crossfire bridge.
What can I do now?
PC Spec:
AMD Phenom ii x6 1090T, 8 gb ram, mobo: Asus M5A97 Pro, 2X sapphire 6790, seagate barracuda 1tb, cooler master masterwatt lite 700, coolermaster seidon 120v
