Does EVGA Z270 Stinger motherboard support fan control for 3 pin fans?

I am using the EVGA Z270 stinger motherboard and a corsair h50 water cooler (I think) and my fans won't stop spinning at 100%. I have tried speedfan and cannot get anything to change the rpm to anything lower than 1700.

Solution
According to motherboard manual, only one fan header supports the DC control - the one near the 8-pin CPU power connector. Remaining two headers support only PWM control, which makes 3-pin fan to run full speed. Note however that DC control is somewhat limited (compared to PWM) - slowest achievable RPM is usually much higher then on PWM fans. Also, why not use Corsair Link software to control fans speed?
