Will the m.2 wifi/bluetooth card I just bought work on my desktop PC?

Currently having a great time with my first ever build, but I'm missing a wifi card, so I bought this one because it looks fast (and was super cheap). But, upon further inspection I found out there's more than one type of M.2 slots and this card is of the M.2 E-key variety. I can't find anything online about it other than 'laptops usually have it'.

Will I be able to install it on my GIGABYTE Z370XP SLI motherboard? If not (d'oh!), which type of wifi card should I get?

Yeah you've found out the hard way about the M.2 port accepting storage drives and not wireless adapters. Why not just pick up a USB driven wifi adapter? They are cheap and easy to source from your local tech shop.

Ah, heck. I guess I just prefer having the least amount of cables sticking out of my machine as possible, so I'll probably go with a PCIe card instead. Thanks for the quick response.
