So this is annoying like hell.
GTA 5 randomly stutters after some minutes, i think it is not a memory leak.
I've checked taskmanager while playing GTA 5 and saw that the game will stutter when the RAM usage reached 74% and this will happen after 30-40 minutes.
This is when i did a stupid test with my components on my PC.
I have 58FPS average on GTA 5 and GTA online at high/very high settings.
This happend when the stutter occured.
I've turned the game settings to the absolute maximum setting so this means all settings at very high and msaa at x8 fxaa on and 1080p and turned advanced settings to absolute maximum(so i turned them ON)
My pc gave me then 34FPS average at the absolute maximum settings.
Then BOOM the stutter appeared!
These are my settings:

Amd phenom x4 955 overclocked at 3.83 GHZ
Nvidia GTX 660 OEM 1.5 GB Gddr5 also slighty overclocked.
7GB ddr2 dual channel ram
500GB 2.5 inch 5.4k HDD
500Watt powersupply
Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Gigabyte GA-MA785GM-US2H motherboard

I've tried all solutions on the internet but none of them worked.
Also i have all drivers updated to the latest version, also my BIOS is on the latest version.
Turned the game to the lowest settings which made the stutter even worse( i dont know why).

I hope someone can help me to fix this odd problem!
Kind regards

Hi there try playing with the MSSA and FXAA settings, incrementally in different combinations, I think you are puching your rig a little to hard so need to find your sweet spot.

try stepping it down from 8x to 4x then to 2x on MSSA noting fps each time and game response. Then go back to 8x and turn OFF FXAA and repeat the process. Once you find your happy place stick with it, and all should be good.

First of all, thank you for responsing to me!
What i mean is when i was playing the game at medium/high settings the game was buttery smooth at 58FPS average no stutters at all when i installed the game about 5 months ago.
But i was so dumb that i tried to play the game at the maximum settings a month ago to test my pc hardware if it can handle the game, the game gave me a average of 34FPS then about 1 minute later it stutters.
I thought ok it might the settings that caused this problems.
So i tried to lower the settings down to medium/high as always it is now for the first 30-40 minutes buttery smooth 60FPS average but then it wil stutter and frame drops for 1 seconds every time.
Before this didn't happend but after the maximum settings change the stutter occured.
Even at the lowest settings it wil stutter even worse, so i am playing the game at medium/high settings but still stutter after few minutes :(
What shall i do?

Oh simplest step might be to try accessing the graphics menu in game, scroll tot he bottom and reset defaults, see if that resolves the issue.

Also have you updated any drivers? had a major windows update like the creators edition etc during the same time frame?
