100% cpu usage !

Hello guys,

I got my pc with:
apu a10 7850k
8 gb rms hyperx blu
gtx 1050ti
the issue is while playing "ac origins for instance" the cpu gets totally consumed at 100% usage and the gpu doesn't exceed 50%.However everything seems to be normal as in game performance. Is that normal??

You're trying to play a AAA game, which happens to be a cpu hog, with a 3 year old apu.
The performance you're getting is to be expected.

Yes it's normal,newer games can use more cores then older games so 4cores are easily filled up.
Your GPU should also reach higher at least in more demanding places unless you have everything lowered to the minimum.

Ok. I wanted to ask whether reaching 112 degrees Celsius while gaming is safe ?

No it definitely is not safe.
But then again a lot of programs have trouble reading the correct temps on those APUs,read here.

Yeah that's a really high GPU temp. Sounds like you might need to push more air through your case.

No that was not the case. HW monitor reads my temps wrongly so i downloaded asus Al suite now i get the maximum cpu temp at 71 degrees Celsius.

Good to hear. I use HW Monitor Pro and AI Suite and they both read the same temp on my end.
