will my i5 skylake processor cause bottlenecking with the new highest end nvidia volta graphic card?

Hi! Was wondering if i would have to upgrade my cpu iff i'm to equip my computer with the highest end volta graphic card. Thanks for your time guys!

Nobody knows what volta might bring.
But, to get some idea if your current cpu can benefit from a stronger graphics card, try this test:
Run YOUR games, but lower your resolution and eye candy.
If your FPS increases, it indicates that your cpu is strong enough to drive a better graphics configuration.
If your FPS stays the same, you are likely more cpu limited.

My guess is that once you get into GTX1080ti class cards, single thread performance like that in a I5-8600K or I7-8700K @5.0 becomes more important.
