When I ran the hp hardware diagnostic on windows short dst failed came but my windows is running smoothly without any crash or error . Should I be worried or not ?

Could you please post the exact error message (ideally a screenshot)?
A screenshot of CrystalDiskInfo (you may want to use the 'obscure serial numbers' function would be useful too.
Some warnings are legitimate warnings that mean your drive is very likely to fail in the next few hours to weeks. Others are more informational, such as over-temperature alarms.
As always, ensure you have a current backup of any data on another drive.

My hard drive is hdd drive of 1 tb and it showed error failure Id QBWHUM-7P9H1J-XD7WMF-60R303 it was run on software provided by hp on windows

actually it was hp hardware diagnostic software which I uninstalled so I don’t have the screenshot but only the failure Id it was showing that my hgst hard drive short dst failed on drive and it shows Id - QBHUM-7PH91J-XD7WMF-60R303

Re-install the program, or use the utility I linked above.
