Solution zoltan.boese Feb 19, 2018 jtrinh858 : I was just wondering if there would be any bottle necking between an i7-8700k and a GTX 1060? Or is it compatible and okay? There is no way that cpu would bottleneck the 1060. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Q7lIYRK5T0ABLvAkgbM_2jJGvbhlep27mR-eRcCy4FA/edit?usp=sharing The i7-8700k is not included in the chart but it performs better than the former gen chips. So your CPU will not break a sweat and if you ramp up the settings, your GPU will run at 100%. That is exactly what you want in a balanced build.
