Hello,
So i had an older Intel motherboard lying around and it has its bios locked and i fixed it by contacting intel no issues there but a new issue have arisen now the cpu cooler runs very slow on this mobo and thats due to some intel quiet technology or something like that so i wanna ask is there anyway i can turn off that setting and make the cpu fan run at 100% at all times cause personally i dont mind the sound of the fan . At idle it sits at 47c to 51c which is hot for a core 2 quad q9400 in my experience and at load it goes upto low to mid 80s which is quite hot . Btw the motherboard is Intel dq45cb if that helps in anyway . Thank you in advance. Or if these temps r fine then just tell me if i am worrying for no reason .

with stock heatsink and cpu fan, sounds normal to me, get an aftermarket one, like evo 212 or like I have on my Q9400, I use SilenX - EFZ-80HA3 36.0 CFM Fluid Dynamic Bearing CPU Cooler added a second draw fan on the push fan it comes with, and I get 35'c-75c temps.

Oh Nice trick I will have to try that for an older DP5xxx series board I have.

yes its a stock cooler so i guess i am worrying for no reason and when i contacted intel they said goto ur motherboard manual and use jumpers to reset bios password it was actually quite easy and i am looking for a new cpu cooler and its called Antec A30 is it any good ?
