Hey ladies and gents,
Was hoping to tap into your knowledge over an issue I've encountered.
Bought a new pre-built system which arrived today. Booted up, set about updating the bios, drivers etc. That all went fine so I browsed the web for a bit then shut it down when I went to have dinner.
When I turned it back on again an hour later I got the dreaded 'HDMI no signal' screen on my monitor. Despite that the CPU, graphics card and case fans were all running, along with the LED lighting in the case and on the memory sticks. I knew I was in trouble though because my keyboard wasn't powering on.
Cut to 5 hours later and I had:
What I was keen to get insight on is what could of caused this. I would imagine that if the cpu isn't seated correctly, pins are bent or if components are DOA I wouldn't of been able to get several hours worth of usage out of it. If it's likely a PSU issue I can sort that myself but if not I'll probably have to take it to a repair shop, my hardware skills aren't that advanced and I don't have any spare components lying around that I can use to test.
Thanks in advance for any pointers it's greatly appreciated. Please find my specs listed below:

Cut to 5 hours later and I had:
Re-seated the ram in different slots and alternated between sticks.
Re-seated the graphics card.
Checked cables and looked for exposed wires or anything else that could be causing a short.
Cleared CMOS via removing the battery cable and shorting the jumpers.
Almost thrown my chair through my bedroom window.
Checked the standoffs were seated correctly.
Checked the graphics card power cables were seated correctly.
Accepted that I was now the proud owner of a $2,300 door-stop with fancy lighting and air cooling.
