Rock solid, only issue I have is that with a bit of part swapping you've got 16gb ram for the same price.

Hmmm, what is your budget and expected usage scenario? We could learn more of your current system to understand if this is a step up from what you already have. IMHO, I'd have gone for a smaller form factor like matx but you're good for 531USD ;)

I do photo manipulation, video rendering and also wanted a rig that's capable of VR gaming. This is what I put together. I know you mentioned about the form factor but tbh, I really like the look of that board! Do you think it's a good build for that price range?

Edit: Budget is around about what is listed as the total.

Thanks for the feedback. I think I'll stick with what I got since RAM is a very easy upgrade down the road. I also can't have anything but a fully modular PSU now :p

Ram upgrading on ryzen isn't as simple (or cheap ) as intel.

4 x4gb sticks will rarely run past 2400 or 2666mhz.

You are better off going with 2 x8gb sticks from the off.

I also cant think of any benefit of fully modular over semi modular - the fixed cables on a semi are always required anyway.

Sorry I'm confused. I have 2 x 4GB sticks of RAM. Why isn't it as simply as buying 2 x 8GB sticks of RAM later down the road when I have more money?
