I've read some topics where Ryzen latest APUs and 2nd Gen Ryzen that are rumored that are unable to boot with B350 and X370 boards because of "Catch-22" situation. I did a fast search on the AMD website and was thinking if it's necessary to get an free "Boot Kit" to flash the board to recognize the APU or CPU installed.

My question is that necessary or might I just can update the bios via usb to recognize my Ryzen 5 2400G on my newest budget build rig?!

Current motherboards in stock may not recognise the new chips hence the need to flash with the new BIOS, but you need a working CPU, as you say Catch-22.

Some suppliers, are offering to pre-flash the motherboards before shipment, if your happy to let them and it will not void your warrenty.

The boot kit is actually a A6-9500 APU + heatsink and you will need to return it.

Let me understand. So, first I have to mount that A6-9500 APU which it comes with Boot Kit into the motherboard socket, then I have to flash the bios with the latest version for the latest Ryzen via USB drive, then I can't "remove it" and then I can mount back the Ryzen 5 2400G so that can boot the PC without any issues. Right?!
