Hey, I have been having an issue with my pc recently, it randomly freezes forcing me to hard reboot my pc, when I do that the first time I reboot my network adapter doesn’t recognise my internet network, so I have to shut it down again before I can get back to what I was doing.

my pc specs are:

Motherboard: Asrock N68-GS4FX
CPU: AMD FX6300
RAM: 8GB 12800Mhz Kingston KVR16N11/8
Graphics Card: Radeon R7 250 MSI

I built a custom pc a couple years ago and had two motherboards with damaged north bridges causing me issues, therefore I didn't have the money to buy an expensive motherboard and cheeped out.

anyway, I keep getting the issue that my pc just randomly freezes when doing simple tasks, therefor I doubt it is me overloading the processor which lead me to rule that out.

next I checked the ram integrity with windows memory diagnostic and it came back totally fine, no problems detected, the problem remained. so, I doubt its ram trouble

I then tried reinstalling my windows download as a clean install, I had been meaning to do it anyway, but the problem still exists, so I doubt its software based.

also, my pc had a hard drive upgrade a couple months ago with a brand new 1 tb hard drive, so I doubt its anything to do with that.

So, I’m left assuming it is my cheap motherboard that is causing the issue.

If anyone has any ideas it would be great to hear because I would prefer not to pay out for a new motherboard and deal with my windows not wanting activating if it isn’t the issue.

Cheers
Adam
