I use a usb stick for school and work but i dont trust people and im wondering if there is a way for me to put a password on the usb stick?

You could encrypt it with bitlocker or veracrypt.
Do note however that if you forget your password - you're screwed!
So better have your data backed up before you even attempt it.

I think your question was if it is possible to protect most normal off the shelf flash drives. If yes, you would have to find a program that receives everything destined for said flash drive, password-encripts the data, then copies the data onto said flash drive. Sometimes, I would create a passworded ZIP file, then add files to that zip file, I think I had to provide the password for each new entry if I wanted that entry to be protected.
