Hey All,
Need some help! PC Specs and Issues Below:
CPU: i5-4690K
RAM: 16GB
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Windforce (DVI Connection)
SSD: Samsung EVO
The issue was just that my monitor would turn on and off, consistently. I tried another monitor and got it working. Then the same problem started with that monitor. So I then changed the DVI Port I was using on the GTX 970, seemed to start working again. Now, nothing works with the DVI connections.
I put the GTX 970 into another computer that has a DisplayPort Monitor and it worked great, no issues and was in video editing like a champ.
So, I then put the GTX 970 back into my i5-4690K PC and tried a difference PCI slot on the MB as suggested in other threads. Rebooted and SAME PROBLEM...on, off, on, off, on, off...any now it appears my PC is slower than a Celeron back in the day with Safe Mode. Rebooting back into Normal Mode it appears to still be running super slow, but still has the on, off, on, off, on, off, issue.
With the on, off, on, off, on, off issue with the monitor all the way back in POST; I don't think it's a driver issue and believe it's a faulty card issue?
Any ideas?
