So I was having this problem where my ram is only using 4GB Ram out of using 8GB of ram sticks I have installed, I was able to get this fixed by remounting my cpu, but a few days later the problem came back and I do not want to keep remounting my cpu just to fix this problem. So I want to know a solution to this, before I remounted my cpu I found thermal paste in the socket and then cleaned it.
I also had this problem in the past where my ram wasn't being used at all and it took reinstalling my os, that doesn't work anymore as I already tried it. I also tried msconfig and maximum memory was already unchecked. By now I tried everything I could up to even sending tickets to my manufacturer and microsoft, they were not able to solve it. For me when I checked my system information and it said that Ram: 8GB (4GB Usable) as specific as it gets.
