I was searching online and I can't decide between a ryzen 1600, i5 7500 or a i3 8100. I can't afford the i5 8400. I would use my pc for gaming and some audio editing with fl studio and also photoshop. I really need usb 3.0 and at least 5 sata connectors on my mobo + a pci express for a gpu and another pci express for a wifi card i have.

Given you are on a limited budget your best route would be a Ryzen 1500x (if gaming is the priority or a 1600 if you want more productivity power) and an appropriate mother board. The z370 boards are more expensive then most of the Ryzen ones.

I'm not from the states. I would spend $10 more on the 7500 + b250-a prime than with an i3 + gigabyte z370 hd3. The ryzen combo (r5 1600 + asus b350-a prime) is about $5 more than the i5 7500

Which one is the best of all the cpus then? I5 7500 i3 8100 r5 1400 r5 1500x or r5 1600. I wouldn't mind spending a little more in between i5 and i3 and 1600. I just can't find a definite answer on forums and benchmark videos.

Not really, you can choose whatever board you like depending on features, its just that the board is very well reviewed, has nice features and with rebate under 60 bucks. I also tend to steer clear of mATX boards since unless you are going for a small form factor PC they are not worth saving the few bucks on.

Another thing if you go the Ryzen route, get 3200mhz speed RAM, its a perfect speed for Ryzens.
