Problem with USB microphone

I bought a USB gaming headset with a microphone. Audio is fine but the mic level is too low. The driver is "generic USB audio" and my OS is Win 7 64-bit

you just need to set the levels, right-click your speaker icon then select "recording devices" then right-click or highlight your mic, then select properties, in the "levels" tab adjust accordingly.
