Motherboard Issue - trying to diagnose

Hello,

Model - Asus P8P67 Deluxe
Problem - Won't Post
Diag - Red CPU LED
Diag - Strange q-code on the LEDs
Diag - No beeps on bootup

I recently tried to use a 5 year old mobo, and I've used it several times throughout the years. This is the first time it's had the Red CPU Light and will not POST.

There are no beeps either.

Here are some pictures, I'm curious at what the q-code means. Maybe it's 0 and the LED is bad?

Any ideas?

You have no RAM installed.

Yes, it is true I have no RAM installed. However, I have tried seating the RAM in every slot before when troubleshooting.

This gives me the same error code as shown in my pictures, and will not POST and no beeps.

For giggles I retried to seat the RAM as you suggested in every slot.

The RAM is known to be working as it has come from my daily driver, and I have tried other spares I have around the house (8gb sticks).

try a new cmos battery if it dead it can cause some mb not to post. on your mb unlock the cpu chip and lightly press down see if the cpu chip not seated. look for any leaking caps or swollen caps.

There is no 0 code used, according to the manual, and it looks like both LEDs should be on. Therefore, I have no idea what code you're getting.

Ordering a new one now, I tried my original with a multimeter, didn't show the 3v that I expected, it showed nothing as if it was drained/dead/bad. So that may be it.

I tried to unseat the Bios Chip previously and the reseat it, but that didn't work. I tried again just now unseating both CPU and CMOS then reseating and it did not work.

I checked my caps just now too and I didn't find any loose/leaking/swolen caps. Thanks for the idea though.

Thanks for the information electro_neanderthal. I tried to look up those q-codes too and didn't see that error code.
