Can someone help me understand the difference between these two boards? It seems like the strix e is a little different than the strix g but not by much.
I ask because I'm about to build a computer and have to decide which motherboard is best for my build. This will be my first build with the help of a friend.
Here are the other components I will use. I like the board because it has built in WiFi and allows me to use it anywhere in the house.
ASUS ROG Z370 STRIX-E ATX or STRIX-G ATX
Intel® Six Core™ i7-8700K Processor
DDR4 3200MHz G.SKILL Trident Z- 32GB
Corsair CX750M Semi-Modular Power Supply
RADEON RX 570 4GB
Samsung 960 PRO NVME M.2 SSD
I don't plan on overclocking any components.
I do a little gaming but the main use is for work. I deal with huge sets of data and this build will allow me to do things like formulas on huge spreadsheets quicker. The computer I have now just can't handle these large sets of data. When I say huge I mean some of these spreadsheets have 500,000 rows of data. The reason for the 570 graphics card is because i will use 4 monitors in this setup.
