Is this my GPU's fault or PSU?

Hello. I was trying to run a test on my PC to see how much money I can make with a ASUS Strix GTX 1060 OC. (I know cryptomining might be killing PC Gaming, but my card is mostly used for gaming), I used the ASUS Overclocking software. And I might've tuned it up to much. When I applied, it froze my PC. I forced shutdown, then turned on my pc, turned on the software, then it gave me a black blank screen. I forced shutdown, turned on my pc, turned the software on, and the same thing happened. Another forced shutdown. I had this issue before with a PC that had a dying PSU. Turned it on, Then Windows recovery kicked in, I just said return to windows, then the software automatically turned on, which it normally does, no issues. The only thing different is it didn't turn on Overclock. Currently I am keeping it on running the cryptomining test. So heres my question. Did my GPU do that or my PSU?
Specs:
MSI Z170A Gaming Pro
Intel Core i7 6700
ASUS STRIX GTX 1060 OC
600 Watt Power supply

"600W PSU" is just about as useful for troubleshooting computers as asking someone to troubleshoot your 120HP car over the phone. You need to specify the exact make and model since most 600W PSUs are completely different from each other, ranking from junk to excellent.

Unless you own a PSU along the better end of the spectrum, both GPU and PSU instability are similarly likely.

It was your overclock causing the issue. As volkgren mentioned, turn down your OC or put the card back to stock settings. When you started the software after each force shutdown it applied the OC and froze your PC. If you want to OC, start with smaller increases then do test after each setting until you get a stable system.
