I got a new PC 5 days ago and I have a potato for my old one. I want to know whats a reasonable price the I should sell this PC for. I just want to get some money from it instead of it collecting dust. Here are the spec:
Intel Core 2 quad Q9400

Dell motherboard

8 GB Ram DDR3

1 TB HDD (5400 RPM)

250 GB HDD (7200 RPM)

Windows 10 PRO (not that is matters too much!)

AMD Radeon R7 250 1 GB GDDR5

I put the bid on ebay. Some guy has put 124.99 on it plus he pay for shipping. Would 125 bucks be good for a decade old pc. I got it for 80 on ebay and added new psu and gpu for 80. so the pc for me was like 160 buks. Plus i got 7 more days on the ad, so it should go up.!

It's worth about $80-$90, If someone...
I assume it boots. $50 to $75. I can pick up a working Core i3 for around $100. I'd sell the R7 250 separately if that computer has integrated graphics. I doubt it will help the value any. As someone cheaping out enough to buy an old Core 2 Quad isn't likely to spend extra for the GPU.

You might make more just parting it out. Sell the RAM, Hard drives, PSU and GPU separately. Sell the motherboard, CPU and heatsink as one unit. Throw out the case and DVD drive. At least you won't get hammered on shipping.

Edit: Also mention in the listing the motherboard was licensed for Windows 10 Pro. As the buyer should be able to install Windows 10 Pro and have it activate automatically. You can also provide them with a copy of the product key. You can use ProduKey to recover the Windows 10 key. I assume you did the free 7 to 10 upgrade and don't have it on hand. Before you dismantle it.

It's worth about $80-$90, If someone offered $125 that would be good, your not going to get much more than that considering you can find OEM's with i5 2500's and some of the lower i7's starting at $125.

I have a a K6-2+/550 system running a Voodoo 5 5500 just for that. ;) I still play NWN or Baldurs Gate on LAN with it about once a month.

Sweet. I've got a PowerMac G4 466 and GeForce 2 MX for Star Trek Starfleet Academy, Jedi Knight and a bunch of others. That's what all my old games are for. Didn't switch back to Windows until later.

If you are getting $125 and they pay shipping, that is a great deal for you. And the price can still go up on e-bay. Usually it comes down to that last hour or minute or snipe bids to determine where it will really land.
