I have a AMD Athlom x4 860k and it is bottlenecking quite a bit (25 avg fps on Rainbow Six and 60 avg on CSGO)
Should I get that AMD A10 APU???

Solution
You have a CPU bottleneck and no CPU that will work with that motherboard will fix that. You need to upgrade to a newer platform. You already pretty much have the best CPU for that platform except for maybe 880k which would give extremely little performance gain. You want to rebuild on Ryzen or Core i5/i3.

You are using x4 860k and 1050Ti as of now right?
I have 1050Ti too, im averaging 200+Fps on csgo @1080P
Please post your PC specs so we can determine what's bottlenecking on your PC.
Back to your processor x4 860k has slower single core performance than Intel processors
I would suggest if you're planning to upgrade get an Intel chipset.

Why would you buy an APU to prevent bottlenecking? APU's tend to be more expensive because they involve integrated graphics which you don't need/use when you have an integrated card. Over all that A10 APU is actually probably weaker in CPU performance and would bottleneck your 1050 ti more. What is your motherboard socket? If it's AM4 then you should probably get a ryzen! Don't buy APU when you have a dedicated card you'd just be wasting your money

I have a GTX 1050ti
AMD Athlon X4 860k
8gb DDR3 Ram
I am using these components right now and I look at my CPU usage and it rockets to 98% whenever I launch a game and stays at that %

These are about as cheap as you want to go if you want to start building a gaming machine. I personally think the 8600k and 16GB of RAM is the ideal setup, although it would costs much more.

Either of these is 30% better in gaming then a 880k.
