Hi, i'm still using an ancient Microsoft Forcefeedback Wheel.

It is connected and recognized correctly in Windows 10 and it always worked perfectly but since a few weeks the Y-Axis doesn't work properly. I have tried two different pedals, so it must be a software-issue.

The problem is, that when I press the right pedal, the Y axis has some sort of dead-zone. First it doesn't react, than it jumps to 50% and from there on the axis works as inteded.

I hope you understand what I mean. E.g. in an racing game if the right pedal is used for throttle: When I press it a little bit, nothing happens. Then suddenly it's on 50% throttle and from there on I can can control precisly until 100% throttle.

I am very sad - this wheel worked for me since I bought it many years ago...maybe someone can help me!

1| Please list your full system's specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS: Windows 10
Peripherals:

2| Make sure you're on the latest motherboard BIOS.

3| You may want to go through Device Manager and uninstall your Wheel, reboot and the drivers should be installed once again. In the case of a failure, you may want to bring out your drivers disc for the force feedback wheel and install the drivers in compatibility mode:
Right click installer>Compatibility tab>Windows X[7 or prior]

4| You should also make sure your chipset drivers are in order.

On a side note, does the issue crop up on the rest of your driving sim games?
