I haven't changed anything at all. Windows 10 force updated last week and ever since then, rainbow 6 siege has been running at about 90fps but will drop down to 30 and below whenever anything happens. MY specs are an i5-6500, gtx 970, 16 gbs of ddr4 ram, and rainbow runs off of a 256gb 960 evo.
The things i've tried that havent worked are as following:
-rolling back drivers and windows 10.
-clean installing my gpu drivers
-messing with settings in game
-turning v-sync on in nvidia control panel and in game
none of those things helped even a little bit.
