Hello.

I was playing a game when suddenly my computer turned off. After I pressed the power button to turn it back on. When I pressed the button nothing happened.

Then I decided to unplug the power cable and reconnect it again. When I connect the plug the green light in the back turns on. But the computer does not power on and nothing moves or responds.

I thought my computer overheated and tried cleaning it which did not work.

Please is there a way I can find the issue.

PC Spec

GTX 1050 it
I7 4770k
16gb ram
HP motherboard
And HP power supply 460 watts

Gaming is one thing that puts a max load on a power supply. It died while you were gaming. Not all power supplies are of equal quality. It's not uncommon for an inexpensive power supply to be unable to output its rated power. That 460W power supply might be a whole lot weaker than that. You did not provide the model number of computer, so I have no way of knowing the specs on that power supply.

The most likely suspect is the PSU. Based on your description of events. Unless you have other computers with compatible components to swap out parts and verify with. The PSU is the cheapest component to replace.

Note that if it is the PSU. There is a possibility it damaged other components when it failed.
