Hello there.. So I recently received this used billion wireless g adsl router and it seems cool but sometimes little knowledge can really hurt.. It has this adsl cable but the only problem is that I don't know what to plug it to.. And when I'm setting up the router its required for the adsl line to be connected.. So my question can one use the router without connecting the adsl to anything? If not what can one connect the adsl line to?

I think the first question here should be, what are you trying to do with it? If you don't know what to do with it, chances are you don't need it, or need something else.

Google the router's model number along with the words "User Guide Manual".

Also who is your ISP provider? You need to have available services to your residence along with the necessary physical connections including cables and splitters/filters.

Take a close look at any documentation provided by your ISP.

Or call them if you did not or have not received the applicable "set up" instructions.

Did you need a router? If yes, what is your ISP now? You are probably better off just getting a new one, if it's a G WiFi means it's pretty old, which can mean slower performance or security holes.
