I recently purchased a Logitech Z506 Surround Sound Home Theater Speaker System to go with my PC. it comes with 5 speakers and a subwoofer. My motherboard is a GIGABYTE GA-F2A88XM-D3H FM2+ / FM2 AMD A88X (Bolton D4) SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard. when I first got it I found that there wasn't a port for the rear speakers or the center and subwoofer so I purchased a sound card to accommodate the system. The sound card is
VAlinks 6 Channel External Sound Card 5.1 Surround Sound USB 2.0 External Optical S/PDIF Audio Sound Card Adapter for PC Laptop Recording Compatible with Windows 10 / 8 / 7/ XP. Thus far I can only get audio to come out of the left and right speakers. I think I'm hearing sounds from the center and subwoofer, however, it makes no difference if the jack for the sub and center speaker is plugged in. It seems like the system is only detecting the green port. I've downloaded all the latest drivers for the sound card and speakers. The jacks for the rear speakers slip out easily as if they were made of butter. Is there anything else I can try before I return the speakers for being defective.
