My specs : msi gaming z270 m7 ,1080ti , 32rams , i76700k 4.00ghz , 500 gb SSD , So it happened one time , it was me playing and game dropped to 20-40fps randomly then i went to sleep and for next 4-5 months it was very good and never happened again until now it has been happening for a week , just my fps after playing for a few hours starts just lagging from 200fps to 20-40 what i managed to find out is that my CPU wents from 4.00 ghz to 0.8ghz , i read and tryed switching some kind of ''slow mode'' button off/on , still happening , then checked my gpu it was perfectly fine temps are around 60 C always , just tested CPU with 100% utilization only gets to 63 C , and couldn't provoke the ghz drop with the stress test... Does anyone know what is going on?
