Yesterday I was using my pc and I started hearing a clicky noise and a plastic burning smell. I turned it off and checked. The power cord where it conects to the power supply, one of the 3 "ports" were burnt and melted the plastic on the cord. One of the 3 pins on the power supply that burned it is a bit green and orange, as if its oxidized. The pc is clean and i just cleaned it again to be sure. I have no idea what could be causing this issue please help

The power supply contains fault detection circuitry. When it fails as yours did, it cannot be realistically fixed. The power supply along with its cables will have to be switched out with a new component.

Do you have access to a computer component supplier? If not try a google search for the area.

If you have Amazon there, that is a possibility as well.

I can't really tell from what you said which psu you have, but either it was cheap and burnt out, or you could have something creating a short circuit. Check that nothing metal is on the motherboard, the screws are in tight and that everything is cleaned and cables are neat. Otherwise, don't get the cheapest PSU with high wattage, the more expensive lower wattage psu's are much safer for your system and actually less lightly to fail due to using quality parts. You should post your system specs so people can help you pick a new one?

I can't seem to find anything on the Wisecase, but judging from the fact that there's some clicking and melted plastic chances are that it is pretty bad (though I could be wrong on this). do you have a spare PSU?

Your power supply failed. You will need to replace the power supply. It is possible that when the power supply failed that it took other components with it.

What exactly is the PC model? If it is a custom build, what are all of the components (especially the PSU)?

Ive had this PSU for 3 years now and it hasnt had any problems until now. I got it from warranty after a 600W 80 plus bronze PSU broke 3 years ago, thats why its so high wattage. I live in brazil so i dont know if the PSU is something local but the label is in Portuguese but from my expirience with it i dont think its low quality. Should I try turning it on with a new power cord? Or should i just go and see with aprofessionall before attempting it? The pc dint turn off i just havemt turned it on since i noticed the problem

Look for power supplies and cases available in Brazil or South America .

No, don't try that. The power supply will need to be replaced. If the case is a ATX case, then any standard ATX power supply will work.
