I planning to buy a ryzen APU but with the high price of DDR4 i can only afford 8gb of ram, and the gpu is using the same RAM as the cpu, that means i only have about 6gb ram for the cpu, so i planning to give the system a 6gb of ram so that the CPU will have 8gb of ram, is that ok?

Actually, it would be 8GB - 2GB !
It will run but maybe too little for some applications. On true idle OS itself may use 2 - 3GB alone leaving you with actual 2 - 4GB of free RAM with which programs have to work. Some games may lag a lot.
