So I recently moved to California and I had to have my computer shipped out to me cause I forgot it in Missouri. I packed it well but they abused the package a bit. So I get my computer home and I have has this build for years now without a problem, however after a while of being turned on it just shut down and wouldn't turn back on. Before it shut down it smelled like burning lint I figured it just needed to be cleaned out. But that didnt work and when I press power there is no beeps to indicate anything or any other sound the computers little blue power light comes on but nothing else. I'm trying to determine if its a motherboard problem or a cpu. I'm just paranoid ill buy a replacement motherboard and the issue will continue. Any ideas?
