is it safe to use OC Genie & MSI Afterburner at the same time

i dont know too much about overclocking but i seem to get a lot better performance with both of them on at the same time but i wanted to know if there was a chance of it damaging my pc if i play with them on for a decent amount of time.

The Paladin
OC Genie is to overclock CPU and Ram
MSI Afterburner is to overclock your video card

technically speaking I don't see why not, though I prefer to OC my Bios/CPu manually.
