I have not installed anything new. I changed my router to a brand new one and this still happens. Here are the logs

Any help is appreciated, and if I have to do anything please be specific, I'm not good with this

Solution
Yes, that's correct. What happens when you run an extended ping on the computer?

Goto Command Prompt and type: ping 8.8.8.8 -t

It would be interesting to see what is reported if/when the ping fails. This could indicate whether or not you're losing your physical layer connection.

Also, It looks like your computer might be renewing its lease every 25 minutes with a 30 minutes (1800sec) timeout. This wouldn't effect much of anything unless your computers are fighting for IPs or you have a conflict with a static assignment.

Yes I am hard wired to the router but when the connection cuts out wifi goes out as well. If it was just a wire then wifi should remain, correct?

"Recv ACK from server 5876cbfe with ip 5876ca0e lease time 1800"

this also leads me to believe it is set to auto expire ip leases every 30 minutes. this should be why it happens at regular intervals. for a home network there is no need to have ip addresses auto-expire. this is mainly a useful feature when lots of people are coming and going from a network.

you'd have to check the manual for how to change this setting but you should be able to disable it completely.

I will report the ping after work.

Now thay you mention it, the cut offs are exactly 15 minutes apart if that tells you anything. One other thing: my phone refused to stay connected to the router's wifi a few days back too (kept connecting and disconnecting in quick succession) but the next morning it went back to normal.

Math Geek: I assume this option would be in my router settings?

The others are on the right track, but this part of your problem really bothers me:

For the problem to follow you across two routers is extremely unusual. It suggests a different problem with your network.

Since you say it also happens on WiFi, maybe another device is flooding the network, making the routers slow to respond to DHCP requests? Try temporarily disabling WiFi, and disconnect all other Ethernet devices from the router (including switches). Plug in only your computer directly using a straight cable, so that it's the *only* device using the router. See if the problem goes away.

Ping came back with bytes=32 time=11ms TTL=59

I have set the lease to max 2880 minutes since there doesn't seem to be an infinite option ... now I am down to disconnects every 48 hours I suppose. It's a solution but not an ideal one. Would reinstalling windows help any? Maybe there's something there?

does the ping run completely uninterupted? "ping 8.8.8.8 -t" should continue infinitely. It's an easy way to see when the network drops and how long it lasts for.. but it can also tell you if you actually lose your physical connection or if there is some other problem.
