MB does not impact performance much since you want to get a locked CPU.

1. How much can you get 4790 for? Seeing 400+ for new ones.
2. Why 4th gen? With that money, coffee lake I5 or Ryzen is better buy even though you need ddr4 ram
3. Major usage and budget on upgrades? I will try to get a better psu and add an ssd

1. well I haven't truly decided which one I want but I can get a 4770k oem for $280 and a 4790 box for 365
2. I already have fourth gen and ddr3 ram
Forgot to mention I stream, but I thought it wouldn't be viable to go on the next generation since I would have to settle for a worse cpu especially with ram being expensive. Am I wrong? ( That sounds kinda rude I'm sorry I just cant think of another way to ask)

I know what you're thinking lol "how do you stream with that build" ya I just use the nvenc encoder put down the encoder preset (to reduce spu strain) and on top of all that I don't play demanding games. I play osu, league, fortnite, and csgo. I've tried csgo, osu, and league all of which I can play at 75 fps (my monitor is 75 hertz) with medium - max settings. Osu is the only one I can play while streaming without bringing my fps down to half. But anyway, I did mean the pentium g3258.

oh and another question the reason I wanted to get a new mobo is because
1. its like a $30 board
2. sometimes when I boot up my pc my keyboard (I have it hooked up to the mobo) my keyboard will sometimes not even input anything to the computer and doesnt have any leds on

Last questions I think,
1. I think I might have some headroom for my budget, with that do you recommend getting an ssd, if so how do I move stuff from my hard drive to it like the os
2. I heard that setting the affinity to certain tasks while streaming is best ex. two cores obs two cores game. Is this true? also thank you so much for your help I just like really dont want to mess up like I did last time
