would it be possible to setup a wan network with a router where i can put it out side of my wireless network range at a separate location and connect to the same network with out having to get a separate internet connection for that location?

Solution
You can be further away, but you need a line of sight. If you had a barn, 500 yards across a pasture from the main house, that would be doable. Multiple locations distributed in an urban area, no. You SHOULD talk to the ISP providers in your area. They may have options for consolidated pricing for your situation. Talk to a business specialist.

Are you asking if you could setup a wireless link between two locations that could share a single internet connection? The answer to that is maybe. If you have a direct line-of-sight, then the answer is probably.
If that isn't your question, you will have to try to rephrase it.

ok looks like it can't be done. i wanted to do this with different locations around a city, but it looks like you have to be as far as across the street in order to do what i mentioned.
