I have recently gotten an sli setup and it worked fine until I used my high bandwidth bridge. At which point sli was not available. When I attempt to use another bridge (even the one that worked) sli is not there. Also when I get a Windows notification for something requiring admin privileges it will go dark and nothing will happen. Also sometimes at boot it will freeze. I have taken out both cards and run them sepperatly and they both are fine.
I have also done a clean install of drivers and reset the bios
The sli bridge that didn't work was a Vega high bandwidth bridge. The other bridge was the one that came with my mobo
System specs
I9 7980xe cpu oc'd to 4.7 ghz
Gigabits aorus x299 ultra gaming
God knows what ssd its 240gb
No idea what hdd its 2 tb
2 way Msi duke 1080ti oc
32gb ram
1000 watt power supply
Windows 10
(Im Probably forgetting somthing)
Any help is appreciated.
