Hello everyone, I'm hitting a snag and every time I look for parts my tastes become too expensive. So I'm curious what some of your brains might have to offer. I'm looking for an upgrade-friendly gaming rig for around $800 - $1,000. I'm hopefully gonna upgrade in time for Monster Hunter World's release but until then I'd like something to play GTAV, For Honor, and PUBG. I also need a monitor, mouse, keyboard, etc... I can add that on top of the 800 - 1000 that the compy itself will cost.Thank you for any feedback, it's appreciated!

*Good sound (headset / speakers) are a must.*
*Going for a green / black theme if possible.*

Solution
if the intel cpu leaks and mb leaks are right in a few weeks looks like the non k coffee lake cpu and the h/b mb are dropping. i would get a locked i5 for 200.00 and then a micro atx h chipset mb for 100.00. look online for seasonic 620w power supply whe nthere on sale there 40 or so and are not bad units. i would use one of the newer m2 256g ssd (100.00).
i would start with one 8g ddr4 stick. whe nyou have the funds add another 8g. i would try and reuse older gpu till nvidia drops there next gpu chip.
