I have lga 775 mobo. I've reformat my hdd and remove the thermal paste of my processor and never put any tp on it after removing. When I start my pc, fans are spinning there is a light on my mobo but there is no display in the monitor. The fans are spinning fast and creates noise. I've already clear the CMOS and replace the battery and nothing happens. I remove the plug of hdd and remove the ram then I start my pc still nothing happens. No beep at all. Lastly I removed the cpu,hdd and ram. Still no beeps no display. What is the problem? Sorry for my english

you didn't apply thermal paste on the cpu? what kind of barbarian are you?
first, take a look at this site
https://www.quora.com/How-important-is-it-to-apply-thermal-paste-on-my-CPU

second, "there is a light" is this POST LED or what?

third, try POST Test, (I believe you already try it) (If you don't know what POST Test is, http://www.custompcblog.com/hardware/post-test-a-motherboard)

fourth, what about GPU?

From your description, it sounds like you had this issue as soon as you rebuilt your system, so didn't run your system for any period without the TIM. That suggests to me your issue is more to do with your rebuild and less to do with the lack of TIM - check all connections etc are secure.
