I'm planning to buy the Logitech K400 Plus for my Android TV. I've noticed 2 different models doing rounds on the shopping sites. There's the "K400 Plus" and the "K400 Plus TV". As per the Logitech website, the former model is mentioned. The latter model seems to be fake by the looks of it (no Logitech logo anywhere). Is it really a fake? I returned the latter assuming that it was. Or has there been changes to the original model?

That logo looks fake (the middle 'g' should be one piece, especially for a non-gaming product), the box looks suspiciously like a knockoff (that solid, cheerful, boring colour with a poorly pasted picture (bad Photoshop job) and chinese lettering that has no excuse being on there because the secondary languages are German(?) and Russian.

And the website I went to with this box in the pictures had 2 reviews, both 5 star, and were by "fp***q" and "gk***f " respectively. Furthermore, the oldest of the two reviews went like this:

"it's the real logitech definitely. that's the wirless keyboard i want, fast shipping, bought by geekbuying's second anniversary, thank you geekbuying! loveu"

I'm no expert, but I'll call this a knockoff any...
If there is no Logitech logo it's fake.

There is also only that one model with the name "K400 Plus" in it.

I too would love a link, though I suspect it was a China or similar type rip-off.

Also, the only name I see is K400 Plus by itself or part of a description:
"Logitech K400 Plus TV Wireless Touch Keyboard"

I'm glad I returned it. I got this "fake" one on Amazon India site, quite shocking considering it was labeled "Prime". I'm gonna order one from a different seller once the refund process completes.

On a side note, I read news about Logitech changing the logo: https://www.underconsideration.com/brandnew/archives/new_logo_and_identity_for_logitech_by_designstudio.php

Looks like the "fake" one, but, no registered trademark on the "fake". This confuses me even more :??:

One other sign that made me think that it might be fake: The battery was already in its place, inserted into the battery slot. I've bought wireless products from Logitech before, they provide the batteries separately and not inside the product.

Well, what do you know? It's interesting that Logitech is moving to a more industrial design. Still, according to all the other reasons stated, I'd call this one a knockoff. Again, I am no expert.
