Unlock options in a MSI 990FXA

I am currently running a FX-9590 with a MSI 990FXA Board, I have been suffering continuous freezing. After doing some research I found out that AMD's turbo mode causes it to freeze.

I have tried disabling the option in the bios only to find out that the option is grayed out. After doing some research though various forums the only help I could find was to press Ctrl+ F1 to unlock the options but when I press this it just opens the control guide which is linked to the F1 Button

Please help?

Is this the motherboard you're working with? Are you on the latest BIOS revision. On another note, please pass on your full system's specs like so:
CPU+CPU Cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

While you've changed the option to go for manual mode, can you change the option for CPU Core Control? It looks like you can change it.

Yeah thats the motherboard im using,

CPU+CPU Cooler: FX 9590 + Kraken x62
Motherboard: MSI 990FXA
Ram: 16 GB Corsair (Hontestly have no idea the speed, ill have to look when Im home from work)
SSD/HDD: 1 TB Seagate HDD
GPU: Sapphire RX 480 Nitro+ 8GB
PSU: Corsair CX 750
Chassis: NZXT Noctis
OS: Windows 10 (Forgot which version)

I've already tried a lot of the other unlocked options and put them into manual to see if that allows me to change this setting, none of them allow me too, for example the CPU core control simply lets me turn certain cores on and off.

Thanks for your quick reply though, this is my first post on toms hardware so Im sorry if I've done anything wrong :)
