Help overclocking Ryzen

Solution
There is no magic number. Read the Ultimate overclocking guide. There are specific steps you need to take to determine what clock speed and voltage are appropriate for EVERY cpu, individually. There is no textbook number that works across the board. Read the tutorials and follow the steps. That is the only way to ensure you get the highest overclock with the lowest voltage. Any final decision needs to be backed by a 15-24hr run of Prime95 version 26.6, and only version 26.6.

Prime95 v26.6 is THE primarily accepted way to do the majority of baseline stability and thermal limit testing running the Small FFT option.

Further, you can find extensive information regarding the Intel CPU...
First, make sure the latest motherboard bios is installed. On some boards there are no voltage core settings until you install newer bios versions. And on some boards there are no voltage core settings at all, period. On some only the option to change the range of the adaptive voltage is allowed.

Vcore IS CPU core voltage, which is what needs to be adjusted when you increase or decrease the multiplier.

I would highly suggest you read the article/tutorial below before going any further AND the general overclocking guide as well. It is a bad idea to fiddle with overclocking settings if you do not have at least a basic understanding of what the changes you make are doing.

This covers both overclocking through the bios and using Ryzen master.

I already updated MOBO to latest(F22)
I tried using the BIOS OC before and then downloaded the ryzen master and OC there.
My fps started to go down, so I went back to BIOS and set everything to default, but the ryzen master app showed me it was still running OC'd. So unable to default on the ryzen master too, I uninstalled it.
Afterwards my system collapsed, PC was shutting down 3 minutes into Windows 10 so I had to resintall everything, OS included with clean installation.

Yes the issue was resolved thanks to that and thats why I want to be extra carefull with OC´ing my CPU from now on
So as for the specs that I mentioned before.
How much should I use for VCore if I OC my CPU ti 3.9Ghz

Further, you can find extensive information regarding the Intel CPU architectures and specifications at the following link which is a somewhat definitive guide on that subject. The information below is taken directly from conversations with Computronix who is also the author of the Intel temperature guide, found here:

For AMD systems, specifically Zen/Ryzen, this should offer similar albeit not nearly as detailed information on that architecture.

This is probably about the most referred to overclocking guide around, and it's principles can be applied to a variety of generations and platforms.
