Mobo vga not working

Hi, so I pluged my pc into my HD monitor to find my monitor registered a connection but then searching still when I thought my gpu may be screwed, so I borrowed a vga monitor and unplugged the gpu but the exact same thing is happening. Everything is working and the gpu fans were spinning.

Any ideas? I reconnect things still no joy

you need to completely remove the gpu from the machine to use the mobo vga.

Sorry didn't make it clear I took the gpu plus power connectors out, the vga still won't work

FX 4300 cpu
Gtx 750ti gpu
Gam78lmt USB3 mobo
A 500 or 700w psu I can't recall

Think that's everything this is off the top of my head

Oh wrong mobo that's am old one it's a 760gmp21

May have to enter BIOS and switch to integral graphics. Did you try to reset CMOS/BIOS ?
