First gaming PC

Ok been looking at these 2 options as I don't want to pay much over $750 for my first PC. Looking for the best option to last a long way down the road and something I can slowly add to.
Just made this and want to know how good of a build this is. Will the ryzen 3 2200g bottleneck the 1060 6gb?

Or should I go for this by cyberpower as the only problem with my build is I don't really want to drop $100 on Windows but don't know how much of a hassle to get a free one or cheap one from the grey market

Thanks ahead of time.

People do that, I've done that. It works most of the time if you get the exact same RAM stick. But there is a chance the two separate sticks won't work together (at rated speed or otherwise) if they didn't' come in a kit. Just a full disclaimer/fyi.
Windows 10 still has the free demo available. It doesn't expire, at least not as of right now. The demo is for the most part functioning Windows 10.

I see the system you linked is sold out now. I'm sure people are snagging the RX 580 to mine crypto and selling the rest of the PC for $500. I just thought of that. :D

Your build is good but with a couple hiccups. We typically recommend B350 and 2x4GB for gaming systems. B350 allows overclocking and 2x RAM modules allows for dual-channel (better performance).

I may actually go with the single stick so I can upgrade to 16gb later on and it'll be a cheaper path

Ok thanks alot man you've been a huge help I think I'll order my 1060 tonight before it goes out of stock

That's a good idea. I was going to tell you to do that!

There are lot's of ways to build a gaming PC around a GTX 1060. Get it while you can.
