Hello, I purchased a new Pc without an Os on the system but was hoping to download one online.

Problem is the pc won't even go to bios it just goes black screen when I turn it on connected to a Hdmi monitor.

Specs

CPU: i5 7600k
GPU: 1080 GTX
Ram: 16gb
HDD: 1 Tb Western digital.

Solution
with the newer intel mb. you have two video cards now. one is the onboard mb video ports (ipgpu) and the 1080 gpu from nvidia. as the pc is new if it was shipped. unplug the pc so there no power to it and make sure the ram and gpu are seated. if they are power up the pc and plug the video cable into the mb and gpu. with no os you should get a black screen with no os found issue on the working video port. whe nyou see that message leave the video cable alone and reboot. you should see the mb spash screen and a quick message to hit a key to go into the bios. if the screen is moving to fast. (turned on quick boot) you need to power off the pc and clear the cmos to get back into the bios with quick boot on.
