The h110m hg4 are updated to 7th g processors?

I bought this motherboard on 10/11/17, but I do not know if it is updated for the seventh generation, the asrock site did not help me much and the site where I bought the product does not specify the information.

H110 is the chipset, m stands for micro ATX form factor and the rest is just the product number. Since your motherboard has the H110 chipset it supports the listed processors. The only thing that might need an update is the BIOS.

All Kaby Lake (7th generation) CPUs are supported with BIOS version 7.10. If you have a Skylake (6th-gen) CPU currently, you can download the BIOS (http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H110M-HG4/?cat=Download&os=BIOS) & update the motherboard, then use a Kaby Lake CPU.

But why buy a 6th generation processor if I'm using a 7th generation?

Unless the BIOS is at that level, a 7th gen processor won't function at all in that motherboard. You can't use an unsupported CPU to update the BIOS in order to gain support for that CPU. It's kind of a "chicken and egg" thing.

What a mess, I bought the motherboard knowing that it supports 6th and 7th generation intel, but now i have to update the BIOS, what do I do? I get a better of the 6th generation processor or i upgrade with celeron g3900 and then I place an i5 7400?

Can you not just take to a Pc shop and ask the employees to upgrade the bios on your board? Or borrow a 6th gen intel chip and do it yourself. ?

I'm from Brazil, there are not many big computer stores here, and finding one that supports new technologies like new processors is difficult, it's far from my city.

Get the cheapest 6th gen CPU(probably a Celeron). Install it, then update the BIOS. Now you can install your 7th gen CPU.
