So I'm having a weird issue but I'm sure its cause of something cause i never had the issue before.
I recently changed my case around for my build. I had a Rosewill WolfAlloy Case but recently got a
Phanteks P400S. I noticed that once i put everything back together it wasn't long maybe a hour or so i would Black screen but the PC would still be running. However i can shut off the PC with the power button i have to turn the PSU off to restart it. Im not sure if its one of m components Overheating or something not wired correctly. I'm kinda stuck atm cause i don't have any extra components to test. A friend is going to come by and help. I did have my CPU overclocked for a while at 3.9 but once i had these problems i dropped it to 3.3ghz.
Moral of the story Im blackscreening and theres no way to shut off the PC unless i turn the PSU off.
My Build:
CPU: Ryzen 3 1200 with Stock Cooler
GPU: MSI GTX 970
MotherBoard: ASUS ROG B350-F Motherboard
RAM: G.Skill TridentZ RGB 16GB
Power Supply: EVGA Gold 750w PSU
Case: Phanteks P400S
Case Fans: Corsair ML140 and ML120MM RGB
SSD: Sandisk 240GB SSD
HDD: 2TB & 1TB WD HDD
Fan Hub: Silverstone PWM Fan Hub System
Thanks in advance for any suggestions
UPDATE: So it's been a while since my last post, Black screening keeps happening still. I'm really not sure what the issue is but my Cables are absolutely correct. I am thinking it may be my power supply since the only way to turn it off when it happens is to flip the switch on it. Sometimes my PC also restarts from a black screen back into windows but with no blue screen.( and i have that checked to where it should display one).
One kinda solution i found is that if i increase the voltage on my CPU it seems to do it less frequent if at all. That is one on the reasons why i think it is the PSU but it also makes me wonder if it is the CPU.
The main take I have? I feel one of my components is not getting enough Juice. Whether it be the PSU from going bad, CPU going bad, Or Mobo(although the capacitors seem to look fine to me and considering this is only a few months old.
Also my G.Skill memory i have found out isn't the AM4 compatible set but it still works. I am going to contact G.Skill and see if i can RMA it for the AM4 version even if i have to pay a little up.
Any thoughts from anyone? I'm pretty stumped but i feel like i'm honing in on what the heck is causing this! Any advice would be appreciated!
Also i have done AIDA64, Prime95 and IntelBurnTest for quite a few hours. Have also ran PC Doctor if that is even helpful. Seems to be good. Will run memtest and report back.
