So hi im looking to get a brand new GAMING PC. and there are 2 hard choises and both pc's have the same price. So one is ASUS 16gb ram GTX 1070 and Ryzen 7 1700. Second is MSI with 16gb ram GTX 1060 and Intel i7-7700. Please help me. Which is the better choise?(i dont edit any videos or that stuff so only gaming)

Solution
Ryzen without question. The Intel CPU is faster for gaming, but the video card in the ryzen box is faster. Plus if you can update the bios on the ryzen computer, it should allow you to upgrade to a newer ryzen later as they come out with newer ones.

I would recommend the intel setup, if if it's strictly for gaming you might aswell go for the intel as the intel i7-7700 is slightly better than the ryzen 7, although if you are doing video editing / rendering photoshop etc that requires multi-core usage the ryzen setup would be alot better as intel has 4 core and ryzen has 8. and a gtx 1070 is better than a 1060, so overall i would recommend the ryzen if you don't do just gaming.

Well i dont do any editinf i do ONLY GAMING!!! but if i7-7700 gets more fps over Ryzen 7 wouldnt the gtx 1070 boost the fps even more than i7 with gtx 1060. What im saying wouldnt that powerfull gtx 1070 make up the differense between i7 and ryzen 7? But ok nvm that what i really want to know which build will have the best gaming preformance i7 with gtx 1060 or ryzen 7 with gtx 1070? i jus wanna find which has better preformance just at gaming.

If it's just for gaming, the AMD system is the better option. There's no real question there. The GPU is most important for gaming, and the GTX 1070 is significantly faster than the GTX 1060. That essentially is the difference between mid-range and high-end.

The CPUs are a bit of a toss up. The i7-7700 isn't going to be much better than the Ryzen 7 1700 right off, just a little better. And then the Ryzen 7 1700 can be overclocked, the i7-7700 can't. Not enough here really to give either build an advantage, but the GTX 1070 is a major advantage.
