Just wondering if there is actually a huge different in the Ti compared to the normal 1050. Is it worth waiting a little bit to get them in stock or will the 1050 be plentiful.

Solution
I have the 1050ti as I said. Was just playing BF1 campaign, game is still downloading. Btw, they've got the BF1 revolution edition on sale on origin for 20 bucks right now for anyone who does not have this game. But I was playing medium settings with my Ryzen 1600. However, I've only got 8gb of ram, so I need to upgrade it. But even at medium preset, it's a VERY good looking game. Much better than when I tried it on PS4.

1050ti would be an incredible value of still at 140 dollars. I have fans in a bracket mounted under mine, I used to have an RX 480 8gb card that I sold to cash in on the mining craze and bought myself the 1050ti to tide me over. So those fans helped cool my 480. Keep in mind my 1050ti is a single fan design...

Honorable
Not a huge difference in performance. It is there nonetheless. Lots of comparisons online.

More comprehensive review. Gap is bigger with some games than others.

Estimable
In games the 1050 Ti is about 10% faster. If you are playing heavy games like Siege or GTA5 I would opt for a 1050 Ti or even a 1060. If it's lighter games like League a 1050 will do fine. GTX 1050 cards are relatively much less effected by the GPU shortages. Miners tend to leave them alone compared to bigger cards/

I recently bought a 1050ti. Not a bad card, a bit steep at 209 but it's decent.

If you don't mind me throwing out another option.... How about an RX 560 4gb for 169? It's even the version with 1024 stream processors. It's probably slightly slower than a 1050ti, so I would guess performance of the GTX 1050, but gives you 4gb of vram, so may not get outdated as quickly until prices go back to normal levels hopefully.

To bad they didn't have that when I was shopping.

Good luck finding a 1050ti for 180. I paid 209, and at the time that was a steal.

The highest temp I've seen it go to is 60 degrees Celsius. Considering a small card that has no 6 pin connector and that kind of performance is really incredible when you look at it.
