I am an android developer and I want to build a PC to do some 3D rendering and video compression for creating new media content. I want the most efficient PC possible because I don't like my PC to be bottle-necked.

I want to use the following configuration for my PC;
intel i7 8700
16 GB DDR4 2666Mhz
PCIe based NVMe SSD 128 GB ( as the primary drive)

I found out that I have to buy a motherboard with Z370 for the processor even though I have no interest in overclocking the CPU. Is it true?

I would really love to have some suggestions to choose the motherboard.

Solution
NVMe drive is a pure waste of money. get a decent one like Crucial MX500 with double capacity for the half price.
as for motherboard, if you are not going to overclock, get the cheapest that has the features you need.
performance wise, they are all exactly the same for stock speeds.
